Guess what it’s almost time for?
Another 25-cent sale at Kidz Kaboodle in Tacoma! This sale is pretty amazing – everything is just 25-cents! You’ll find baby and kid clothes, toys, shoes, and if you’re lucky enough to get there on time, baby equipment.
For directions to the store and more about the sale, see the Kidz Kaboodle website. And for my own experience shopping this sale, see my post entitled Back from the Black Hole.
Pictured above: my Kids Kaboodle haul was only $9.56 (including tax)!

Live in or around the Edmonds, WA area?
If so, you might want to know fellow blogger Amber of Coupon Connections NW is holding a coupon class – and it’s free! It will be held on September 21st at 7pm.
While there is no cost or obligation, you do need to RSVP as space is limited. For more information, please see her post.
Some of you have asked when I will be having another coupon class. I *might* have another class or two in the works, though I can’t confirm anything at this point. I know many of you like to learn by having someone teach which is exactly why I’ve been doing live webcasts the first and third Mondays of every month. You can view the past webcasts by going HERE. I will be announcing the August topics shortly – so stay tuned!

According to The Consumerist, a Seattle bar owner will give you a free steak dinner…if you close your account with Chase.
He owns the Twilight Exit on East Cherry Street and is so fed up with how he was treated by Chase, he came up with this promotion. I’m honestly not sure if it will do much damage to Chase, but if nothing else, it’s sure put his bar on the map, no?
There are additional details on this quirky freebie over at Centsible in Seattle!
Would you change banks for a free steak dinner?

If you’re a homeowner, you probably understand that house repairs can be VERY expensive. But often expensive repairs start as smaller problems first. Catching these problems when they are small, or even better, before they happen can save you hundreds and possibly, thousands of dollars!
I’m so very pleased to share that my friend Eric’s general contracting company, NW Solid Rock Construction, is interested in helping YOU keep your house in ship shape! He’s offering Puget Sound homeowners a FREE one-hour house inspection! He’ll walk with you through your home and work to identify any potential problem areas and help come up with solutions for repairs. There is absolutely no strings attached or any obligation.
Your free home inspection will have particular focus on:
On a personal note, Eric’s been a friend of my husband & mine for years…he was even in our wedding party! I really can’t speak highly enough about Eric’s work ethic, his integrity, and his sincere willingness to help others. If you are looking for a general contractor to get the job done right, on budget, and on time – call Eric! I also love that he’ll accept a wide range of jobs – even small ones that other contractors might not accept.
To schedule a free, no-obligation one-hour inspection of your home, please ask for Eric at NW Solid Rock Construction at 206.291.6397 and mention the offer you found on The Coupon Project. You can also connect via his website or on Facebook at NW Solid Rock Construction!

If you live in Federal Way and if you like burgers, chances are at some point you’ve visited Burger Express on Pacific Highway!
You might recall that a month ago now I mentioned the Hometown Values magazine was delivered to area mailboxes. In the magazine was a great coupon: buy 2 1/4 lb burgers, get 2 kids’ meals for FREE! There were also a few other Burger Express coupons available.
Didn’t get the magazine? You can print the coupon online HERE!
Hometown Values is a magazine that serves local neighborhoods with coupons for local businesses. To find if there are Hometown Values near you, visit their interactive map.

Got a summer party coming up?
If so, there’s a pretty fun Groupon offer today only: 7-hours of a bouncy house rental from Merry Makers for $89! This is 50% off the $179 regular price.
Fine print stuff: you must buy this deal today to take advantage of this offer. You’ll be able to choose from 50 themes. Your Groupon will expire on December 31, 2010 and there is a limit of one person (however, you may buy more as gifts).
Want to take advantage? Start by setting up a Groupon account if you haven’t already (they pretty much just need an email address and a password you create). Then you should be able to take advantage of the Merry Makers deal!
Thanks, Coupon Connections NW!

I recently shared about Zulily, an online store that primarily features daily deals on maternity, baby, and children’s items. They’ve also started offering local deals.
One caught my eye today, and I thought it might be of value to someone.
There are 7 spots left at Bothell’s Willows Edge Farm Day Camp for kids! The camp is geared for kids 5-14 and gives them a chance to experience real farm life.
Kids get to:
The camp is normally $99, but right now it’s discounted to $60 – but remember, there are only 7 spots left! The camp starts at 9am and finishes at 4pm. If you go to their website, you can find a list of available dates for their camp. It looks like it sells out each year, too!
To get started, create an account at Zulily. Then, you should be able to come back and take advantage of the Willows Edge Farm deal.

Thrifty Northwest Mom recently tipped me off to a site I hadn’t heard of before: Zulily. This site usually features one-day-only sales for maternity, baby, and children’s items.
Apparently they are also starting to offer local deals as well! Right now, they have an awesome deal for select neighborhoods in and around Seattle: spend $35 and get $80 worth of organic produce from Full Circle Farm delivered right to your door! Choose from among their 200 varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. While they do offer a subscription service, you can simply redeem your $80 gift certificate to try them out without any further obligation.
You can read more about the Full Circle organic produce offer, but note you will need to create a Zulily account FIRST. (So set up your account and then come back and the link should work for you!) Delivery is for select neighborhoods in King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Kitsap Counties, so make sure to check out their zip code finder before placing your order. If you don’t mind driving, they do have a number of community pick-up sites available too.
This sale ends at June 29th or until supplies last, so hurry if you want to take advantage!
Thanks, Thrifty Northwest Mom!
