Starbucks: Earn a $10 eGift Card with Bagged Coffee Purchase

Starbucks is running a pretty sweet promotion this fall and you can earn up to a $10 Starbucks Gift eCard!

Here’s how it works: purchase specially marked Starbucks coffee bags (11 oz+) between 9/8 – 10/19 and enter the Star codes from the packages. You’ll earn rewards for each bag’s code you enter:

  • First star code: earn a bonus star code.
  • Second star code: one free tall brewed coffee.
  • Third star code: free food item.
  • Forth star code: $10 Starbucks Gift eCard.

Don’t forget, there is a $2/2 Starbucks coffee coupon from the 9/8 SmartSource you can use to further sweeten the deal!

Mission to Save came up with one possible scenario for Walgreens you might be interested in:

Buy (4) Starbucks Ground Coffee, 12 oz $6.99
Use (2) $2/2 coupons from the 9/8 SmartSource
Earn 1,000 Bonus Rewards Points (= $1 savings)
Bottom line: $5.74 after Bonus Rewards

Plus, under the scenario above, you will have earned a $10 eGift Card!

If you’re aware of any other scenarios, leave a comment. I’ll keep my eyes peeled too.

Thanks, Mission to Save & Bargain Briana!

Angela, I did an awesome transaction today. I shared with Queen Bee but I haven’t seen her post it. At Safeway, it is $6.49 for bagged coffee with in ad coupon through tomorrow. I bought two and used the $2/2 coupon. I received a $5/1 gift card Catalina. I repeated this so I had two Catalinas. Then I bought two $15 gift cards and paid $20. I went home and entered the codes as you mentioned above and it was confirmed that I will get a $10 e-card. So for $41.98 out of pocket, I got 4 bags of coffee, $30 in physical gift cards, and $10 in e- gift cards plus the other perks mentioned above.

In the Safeway ad it says this $5/1 Catalina runs through sometime in October, but the in ad coupon with the $6.49 price ends on Tuesday.

Please note you have to find the special packages with the gold sticker in the corner for the packages to have a star code.

I noticed some points needed clarification. I spent $41.96 not $41.98. Some people get hung up on the math, like me :).

The $5/1 gift card Catalina is only for Starbucks gift cards.

Also, the cashier had to ring up the gift cards in separate transactions. The Catalina didn’t say one per transaction, but it did say one per card. So you can apply 2 Catalinas to a $15 (or any other value) gift card.
