Sweeps & Giveaways

I was recently given the chance to sample some Yoplait Kids’ yogurt (or should I say, my kids were given the chance?) In case you weren’t aware, Yoplait has an entire line of yogurt made for kiddos, including Go-Gurt, which you can freeze, and then allow to thaw in your kids’ lunch pack!

My kids opted to try the Yoplait Splitz. I actually served it in the place of dessert last night. There is NO high fructose corn syrup, or artificial flavors or sweeteners. But how would my kids like it?

My son Keefe said “Deeee – licious!” (In case you’re wondering, he sometimes wears his shirts like this. Maybe he has a future as a fashion designer?)

When I asked my daughter Piper if she liked it, she nodded. That’s a good sign, because she’s picky.

One lucky reader will win a coupon good for a FREE variety of Yoplait Kids’ Yogurt (up to $3.03 in value) AND a lunch tote, thermos, sandwich container, and some back-to-school goodies!

How to Enter

::To enter this giveaway, leave a comment letting me know what your favorite lunch item is to pack for your kids. Or, share what your favorite lunch item was when you were a kid!

::For a second optional entry, become a subscriber to The Coupon Project – either by RSS or email.  Then, be sure to leave a comment letting me know you’ve done so! If you’ve already subscribed - great, just leave a comment!

As a reminder, emails you send me or comments posted on my Facebook wall? They won’t count as entries towards this contest. You need to leave a comment to this post.

This contest will close Friday, September 10th at 12 pm PST!

*Please note that the pack I received and the one I’m about to giveaway were given to me by Yoplait via MyBlogSpark. All opinions are my own. Oh, and my kids’.

I was recently contacted by the folks at POM Wonderful to see if I would like to review their pomegranate juice. In case you’re wondering, I said yes.

I LOVED the juice. In fact, the entire case they sent me was gone in a nano-second! If you’ve never had pomegranate juice, I would equate its tartness similar to cranberry. It definitely has a stronger taste than most juices. As with cranberry, it works really well when blended with other fruits. POM Wonderful sent me their blueberry pomegranate to review, and I found the sweetness of the blueberry was a perfect pairing with the pomegranate!

So why pomegranate juice? And why POM Wonderful?

Throughout history, pomegranates have been known for their antioxidants. And POM Wonderful is committed to providing the very best pomegranate juice. I was impressed to learn that all of their juice comes from California (the San Joaquin Valley) – nothing imported here.

Besides drinking POM, you can also cook with it! Check out the many recipes using their product!

Now the part you probably care about most: one lucky reader will win a case of POM Wonderful shipped their home!!

Today I’m excited to announce a new giveaway!

SimplyFun is a company that is dedicated to providing quality games for children and their families to enjoy. We recently had the chance to experience some of the fun ourselves!

When we received the games from SimplyFun last week, I could tell there was just more to them than most games. They were very well made, not flimsy at all. My son was very eager to give the Ooga! game a try first. I was expecting a typical “move from start to finish” type game, but was surprised to see the game pieces when we opened the box. They were “spears” in the shape of plungers so we could “hunt” the dinosaurs! The game worked on coordination and matching skills. My son seems to be going through a Dinosaur Phase right now, so it was perfect for him.

The other thing that I liked is it seemed that the rules could be easily modified as needed to I actually changed some of the more “fast play” rules in order to have my son get it. As he gets older and his comprehension progresses, we could add in some of the other rules of the game.

SimplyFun would like to give one lucky Coupon Project reader a game, too! The winner will get a choice of Ooga! or Treasure Trot.

How to enter

Each entry must be left as a separate comment for it to count. Please do not email me or leave a message on my Facebook page as these will not count. The first entry is mandatory. The others are optional, additional entries. This contest will end on Monday, June 21st at noon Pacific Standard Time.

1. First entry (mandatory). Visit SimplyFun and leave a comment telling me which product strikes you as the most interesting for your family.
2. Second entry (optional). Subscribe to The Coupon Project and leave a comment telling me you’ve done so. Already a subscriber? Great! Just let me know!
