Tacoma/Federal Way residents: FREE bounce house rental with food donation!

Check this out: a local real estate company, Homes on the Sound, is offering free bounce house rentals in exchange for non-perishable food! What a great idea!

From The News Tribune:

Homes on the Sound of Federal Way is letting local kids use the company’s gigantic inflatable “bounces houses” for birthday parties. All the company asks in return is that the kids—or their parents—donate canned and non-perishable food to the St. Leo Food Connection in Tacoma.

I love this because this is PERFECT for all my couponers out there! This is a great way to throw your little one a birthday to remember – without breaking the bank!

If you would like more information, please contact Homes on the Sound’s David Berg at 253-234-4289.

Actually, I can give all the specifics of the bounce houses. I offer them free of charge… not totally free. The catch is that each person that attends the party must bring at least one can of food or non-perishable food item. The bounce houses are 15’L x 15’W x 16’H. Kids love them. We do request that each parent must fill out a waiver release form for their child(ren). This is to protect ourselves and contact guests to see if they would be interested in doing the same thing. Food items will either go to St. Leo Food Connection or the Federal Way Multi Service Center. The Federal Way Multi Service Center also takes clothing donations, as well.

You don’t have to live in Federal Way or Tacoma. As long as you’re within 10 miles that is fine. We’re pretty much a 2 person team, and I’m looking to hire a bounce house assistant pretty soon since I generally need to occupy my weekends with showing and selling homes.

I’m looking to hire somebody with the following:

Can maneuver around a 285 bounce house
CLEAN Background check (Criminal and Drug screening required)
Fun, loving, energetic and GREAT with kids
Punctual – Must be on time

      Thank you,

      David Berg

Thank you, Mr Berg! This sounds like a great idea- a definite win-win! I am not familiar with the St Leo Food Connection, although I’m sure it is a fine organization, but I really respect the FW Multi-Service Center. They are a wonderful organization that help so many people.

How many children do you recommend inviting to the bouncy party? Can we book now for dates in the summer?

Thanks for stopping by, David! Trust me, my readers know how to GIVE. 😉 These folks know how to rock the coupons & get tons of food & household items for free & cheap. Many of them already give to food banks, so this will be right up their alley. Thank you for letting us know you are hiring too. Maybe someone here will be interested & reach out to you.
