Total spent for everything pictured above: $59. (And $5 of that was sales tax, people!)
How much did I save? Well, shoot…I already packed away the toys in my closet and I’m too lazy to go fish it all out again. I’m sure you understand. Suffice it to say everything was 75% (except the crayons which were a quarter each). So, that’s about $240+ worth of toys, baby!
Not bad, not bad. Would you believe I actually COMPLETED Christmas shopping for my daughter on this trip (as well as a couple neices and nephews)? It took less than an hour. And I’ll probably finish up my son’s gifts for $0.00 out of pocket thanks to the Amazon credit I’ve racked up using Swagbucks. SCORE! And SCORE!
So while others will wake at the crack of dawn the Day After Thanksgiving, I’ll be taking a Day After Thanksgiving Nap! HA! You just think of that as you line up outside your big-box retailer of choice at 3 am!
Reader Tiffany shared her awesome Target shopping trip with me! Check it out…
Here’s her breakdown:
(4) Schick Hydro… (4) $5/1 manufacturer’s coupons and (4) $4/1 Target coupons
(2) Bear Naked Granola… B1G1 manufacturer’s coupon (2) $0.50/1 Target coupons
(1) Aquafresh Kid’s Toothpaste… $1/1 manufacturer’s coupon and $0.50/1 Target coupon
After the overage Tiffany received on the Hydro razors, her subtotal was $0.00, and she paid $1.62 in tax. She writes: “This will keep a smile on my face all day!”
Please note that your results with overage at Target (and other retailers) may vary. Stores may mark down the value of your coupon to prevent overage, and some stores may refuse you using them altogether (though this is less common).
Speaking of Target, I’m anticipating that the toy clearance should hit 75% either sometime today or tomorrow. I’ll keep you posted with any rumors.

Thanks to Coupons, Deals and More for compiling the weekly Target deals!
Looking sort of sparse this week. There are a couple deals that stood out to me as potentially worth doing:
Schick Quattro Razor for Men or Women $6.99
$5/1 coupon from 6/13 SmartSource (expires 7/30)
Try-me-free mail-in rebate
Bottom line: FREE – overage after rebate
(Note: there was a Target printable coupon available at one point for this item)
SOBE Lifewater $1
B1G1 printable coupon (must play the game first…some reporting up to 4 prints!)
Bottom line: $0.50 each
Make sure to drop by Coupons, Deals and More’s Target-ing Monday feature where bloggers from around the country gather to share their best Target finds – hidden deals, matchups, trial size freebies, and more! The link should be up HERE sometime today.
Also, in case you are unaware, we are anticipating that Target’s toy clearance should hit 75% off sometime Wednesday or Thursday of this week. This is a fabulous way to score some serious deals. Last year, I ended up finding a GeoTrax Zoo set for $8 (normally almost $30) and a Hannah Montana doll for about $7 (normally $22). I also scored a few board games for about $1 each. I will do my best to monitor rumor alerts on this HOT sale! The best toys go FAST, so if you’re at all interested, you’ll want to keep close tabs on the progress of the sale. My favorite post about how to work this sale is Thrifty & Thriving’s tutorial.

Fred Meyer deals will come tonight, but I wanted to give you a heads-up about a hot deal on Tag Books now!
According to Thrifty NW Mom, toys are being clearanced at Fred Meyer by as much as 60% off!
One deal of note she found, Tag books were marked down to just $5.99. Use this $3/1 printable coupon (registration required) and it drops to $2.99!
For more details and other clearance items found, check out Thrifty NW Mom’s post!
And speaking of toy clearance sales, the much anticipated 75% of toy clearance at Target should hopefully occur sometime this week! I’ll do my best to keep up on the rumor alerts because once the sale starts…you need to get in the car and go! I did this deal last year and found some GREAT deals! Thrifty & Thriving has more information on how this sale works and how to navigate it. It’s a MUST READ for working this sale!

In my opinion, Target’s ads rarely tap into the deals that one can find at Target on any given basis. This is why if you’re a dedicated Target shopper, you’ll want to keep tabs on Temporary Price Cut items and Target coupons. You can find some of these gems at Coupons, Deals and More’s main Target page.
One deal that stood out to me as worth considering for the week…
Scrubbing Bubbles Cleaner $2.49
$1/2 or $0.55/1 coupons from 6/13 SmartSource
Receive a $5 Target gift card when you purchase 4
Bottom line: as low as $0.69 each after coupons and gift card

Here are a couple deals I think may be worth doing:
Air Wick Freshmatic Starter Kit $4.49
$4/1 coupon from 6/20 SmartSource
Bottom line: $0.49
Danimals (6pk) $1.89
$1/1 coupon from 6/6 SmartSource
Bottom line: $0.89

Did you know that the tubs of Pampers wipes are currently $1.97? They were last night at my Target.
Pampers Wipes, assorted varieties, $1.97
$2/1 coupon from 6/6 P&G (exp. 7/30)
Bottom line: FREE!
The coupons did beep for me since the value of the coupon exceeds the value of the item, but my cashier pushed them through once she realized I purchased the correct item. You may wish to bring a printed copy of Target’s Coupon Policy with you on this one. It states that they can reduce the coupon value if it exceeds the price of the item.
Because I had three coupons, I was able to get three tubs for free!
Please note that Target prices may vary from store to store. I am also unsure how long this price will remain in effect.

Thanks to Coupons, Deals and More for compiling the Target deals each week. She also keeps a current list of Temporary Price Cut and Target coupons, so it’s definitely a site to know about if you shop Target.
However, I can’t say much is jumping out at me from the weekly deals. Have you found a hot Target deal this week?
