I’ve been hearing awesome things about the site ThredUp, but have yet to try it. Have you?
Here’s how it works:
They buy consignment-quality clothing and then you buy it from them online for a low price. It’s shipped out to you. But the cool part is you can also sell your kids’ like-new clothes to thredUP as well! Even better, you can order a FREE bag online and get FREE shipping of your used items to thredUP. You can earn between 20-40% of the resale value upfront. How cool is that?
For a limited time only, new thredUP customers can receive a $10 credit to use on anything they wish at thredUP with coupon code SAVE10 at checkout. The code is good through 1/18 only. Just make sure your total order is at least $10 for the code to work and you must be a first-time customer. It appears that shipping starts at $7.95, or free with total orders of $40 or more. The shipping cost may make more sense if you can buy a few $2 or $3 items and stretch the $10 off code further.
I thought I’d share just a few things I found while browsing the site to give you an idea of what you could do with the $10 code.
If you’ve been using thredUP, what has your impression been? Has anyone had luck selling to thredUP?
Thanks, Thrifty NW Mom!
