My unadvertised Fred Meyer deal finds: Gummy Vitamins, Free Paper Towels, Seventh Generation & More!

I had fun poking around Fred Meyer yesterday on the first day of their Anniversary sale. I wanted to highlight a few extra deals I found happening in the store.

While I had shared in my Anniversary post that specialty bath products were buy one, get one free with in-store coupon, I wanted to highlight these Dr. Teal’s products. I LOVE them! I personally use the epsom salts. After the B1G1 special, those would be just $3.45 each! The milk bath would be $2.49 each.

Tape and mailing supplies are also buy one, get one free with in-store coupon. I stocked up on tape, but I think the officeWorks envelopes are also a good deal. Those would start at $0.59 each after the coupon!

All candles and home fragrance is also buy one, get one free. I adore these jar candles – and they’d be $4.99 each after the sale. I’ve been burning the Cinnamon Vanilla Brulée since late August and it’s such a sweet, fall smell.

I also spied this wall of Wilton bakeware for 50%. They had muffin tins, cookie sheets, loaf pans, and more.

My store (Twin Lakes, Federal Way) had a huge selection of home and toy clearance marked at 50% off! This was between the home and garden section in case this is your store and you’re interested to check it out.

I spotted this Seventh Generation deal I thought was pretty decent… on the Laundry Detergent was a hangtag coupon $3 off the laundry detergent AND dish liquid. All Seventh Generation products are 30% this week. Here’s how the deal would work out:

Buy the Laundry Detergent $6.29 (reg. $8.99)
Buy the Dish Liquid $2.30 (reg. $3.29)
Use the $3/2 hangtag coupon
Bottom line: $5.59 for BOTH! (reg. $12.28)

That is strange about the Brawny coupon. I did the same deal a few weeks ago with the same coupon from Red Plum which expired on 9/14/13 when paper towels were 10/$10 at Fred Meyer and it didn’t beep. I never understand why sometimes a coupon works and sometimes it doesn’t.

I just did this last night and surprised the clerk when I walked out with 10 free paper towels! Not to mention the $.99 OJ and chocolate milk I scored. Thank you for the paper towel tip. Wasn’t going there for it, but had the coupons on hand, so why not!
