Happy Friday, everyone! It’s time for this week’s installment of the Weekly Wrap-Up, a new blog feature I kicked off last week to help you capture the best deals and stories that took place on the blog over last week.

Ongoing Posts You Might Have Missed
These popular posts update once weekly.
This post has been officially resuscitated for 2017! Many stores have already reported on their turkey prices. This post gets updated at least once weekly through Thanksgiving, oftener when there is more to share.
Each Thursday, Laura scours Amazon for the very best deals you can get via Subscribe & Save. Her list is extremely comprehensive, covering many different categories (think gourmet food, baby care items, personal care, paper products, and more).
The Fred Meyer ad is reviewed at length on my blog each Monday. These deals run through Saturday of each week. In addition to matching sales up to coupons and rebate offers, I also cover the non-grocery portions of the ad.
The Week Ahead
Here are a few things I anticipate happening over the next week:
- Black Friday ramps up! I’m a bit surprised (but maybe I shouldn’t be) that we’re already seeing Black Friday deals. I’m not talking about leaked ads, but actual deals you can score now. I’ll do my best to capture some of the top deals as I spot them. Needless to say: be ready to bite a bit earlier this shopping season.
- Amazon Black Friday. Starting MONDAY we’re going to bring back our popular best deals on Amazon post that we updated daily last year. The goal of this post is to help you make sense of the best deals happening right now.
- Thanksgiving Food Deals. By Wednesday, you should have a good idea of where you’d like to get your turkey, thanks in part to my Best Turkey Deals post! I’ve been working on updating this and am *really* close to having complete information on our area stores.
- Online retailers. As we trend into the holidays, watch for an uptick on posts from online retailers (think Kohl’s, Macy’s, Target, etc.).
I’d love to know your thoughts on this feature. Any ideas for how to improve it? Please sound away in the comments below!
