My daughter and I paid a trip to Trader Joe’s yesterday afternoon, which turned out to be an incredibly dangerous place to visit. We found chocolate, chocolate cookies, Christmas cookies, peppermint, peppermint chocolate, peppermint chocolate cookies, and other assorted treats.
To tempt you further, I thought I’d share some of what we spotted.
Gingerbread House Kit for $7.99.
I found an endcap full of beautiful cookie tins! I *HAD* to pick up a $3.99 tin of Danish Butter cookies because it reminded me so very much of my late grandma. She always had these at holiday parties. I can’t wait to pull them out for our Christmas Eve party!
Chocolate Covered Pretzel Twist Assortment for $6.99. Really, there are so many things that would make beautiful, tasty gifts right now at Trader Joe’s!
Triple Ginger Brew for $2.99. I’m a sucker for cute bottles like these…
This caught my eye – Camel Milk Soap for $1.99. Camel?
I don’t know if your Trader Joe’s store has this, but in my store’s freezer department, there are a couple “display” freezer shelves that highlight some of the new and interesting products. One of these was full of delicious looking appetizer type items, such as these Camembert Cheese and Cranberry Sauce Fillo Bites!
I showed my daughter this Ugly Sweater Cookie Kit and she said that it was “cute.” Yeah, TJ’s… I think this is an “ugly” fail. Try again!
Lobster Tails for $9.99. Fancy!
I think I’ve determined that Brussels Sprouts NEED bacon. NEED. These are $4.49, in the refrigerated section.
Here’s my cutie pie holding a FOUR POUND bar of chocolate she spied! It comes in milk or dark (like their smaller bars) and was selling for $14.99. PS isn’t she cute? PSS how awesome is her hair?!
Chocolate Passport books for $9.99. They include chocolate bars from Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela Ghana, Dominican Republic, Papa New Guinea, Sao Tome and Tanzania. What a fun gift! I noticed they had them last year too, but didn’t buy them. I’d love to know if you’ve tried or gifted these!
I’ve heard good things about these Pfeffernusse cookies. Now, to spell them…
Seriously, there were treats spotted in just about every department of the store! These shortbread cookies with jam centers were $4.99.
Gingerbread Molasses Cookie Dough for $2.99 in the refrigerated section, near the milk and yogurt at my store.
Cinnamon Roll Wreath for $4.99 (in the frozen department).
Of course if after all that treaty stuff you’re feeling the need for something healthy? You can go for this set of 6 Harry & David Comice Pears for $6.99.
I’d love to know if you’ve made a trip to Trader Joe’s recently, and if so, what you’re finding! Leave a comment below.
