I stopped by Trader Joe’s to pick up some treats for an upcoming family getaway. (I mean, what better place to pick up some travel snacks?) This is such a delicious (and dangerous!) time to be shopping at Trader Joe’s, friends. The current status of the store goes a little something like this: chocolate, dark chocolate, peppermint chocolate, peppermint, gingerbread, chocolate gingerbread, and Panettone.

To tingle your taste buds, I thought I’d highlight a few of the things I spotted today:

Item #1: Holiday Cards.

Trader Joe’s is always such a great source of cards (you might want to read how I recently started a card/letter box using Trader Joe’s cards!), but you really need to check out their selection now. I found all kinds of cute holiday cards like the one pictured above. And, only $0.99!

#2: Nantucket Cranberry Pie. I didn’t see a price on this, but MAN does it look good. It’s nice to see cranberries being used as the centerpiece instead of a side. If you’ve tried this, I’d love to hear what you think.

#3: Triple Ginger Cake. This is another delicious looking dessert I spotted in the freezer aisle.

#4: Scandinavian Tidings. This looks like a holiday version of those Scandinavian Swimmers gummy snacks that are near and dear to my heart. I absolutely could not resist these and into my cart they went!

#5: Gingerbread Flavored Dog Treats. Don’t forget Fido! You get a nice-sized box (16 ounce, to be exact) for just $3.49.

#6: Winter Wassail. For about $3, pick up a bottle of spiced wassail! I bet this would be cold or hot.

#7: Danish Butter Cookies ($3.99). My daughter is going to be so excited that I bought these! They are her absolute favorites. Last year, we made the mistake of not stocking up – these are those seasonal type items that when they’re gone, they’re gone. I think the tin they come in is particularly adorable, too.

#8: Mini Gingerbread Men ($2.99). I have purchased these before and they are quite good. Recommend!

#9: Chocolate Peppermint Almond Beverage ($1.99). Shelf-stable non-dairy beverage. I’m not sure how I feel about this flavor – I’d love your thoughts or ideas how to use it!

#10: Bourbon Cake Mix ($3.49). This looks absolutely amazing and I don’t recall seeing it at Trader Joe’s in years past. I didn’t buy it today, but I’ll definitely be looking for it on an upcoming trip.

There you have it! For more goodies, you can check out the Fearless Flyer on Trader Joe’s website. I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of these goodies, or what other goodies you enjoy getting from Trader Joe’s this time of year.
