Trader Joe’s has released a new Fearless Flyer for February! You can view all the featured items online. For fun, I thought I’d highlight the 6 items that are standing out to me – the “must try” items that I’ll be likely to add to my cart the next time I’m in the store.
Vanilla Almond Spiced Chai, 16 oz, $2.99. Dairy-free and vegan, this 16 oz bottle of chai beverage contains all the spices you’d expect – cardamom, nutmeg, allspices – as well as an ingredient you likely wouldn’t – pea protein. Color me intrigued!
Trader Joe’s Steak & Stout Pies, 2, $6.49. I have seen these in the store before and they look very good. The only reason I’ve not picked them up thus far is the super high calorie and fat content count! (I forget what it is, but I do recall it’s quite high.) That being said, I think they’d make a decadent splurge for a romantic night in. If you’ve tried them, I’d love to know your thoughts.
Wild Boreal Blueberries, 16 oz, $2.99. These blueberries come from the Boreal region of Quebec and are grown naturally and without pesticides. Apparently this region has rich soil and a unique climate, which yields very tasty berries. I’d love to try them!
Chile Lime Seasoning Blend, 2.9 oz bottle, $1.99. I love the sound of this combination, and I equally love the suggestions of how to use it from the website: “shake… over cut watermelon, mango, coconut, cucumber, or Cara Cara oranges.”
Harissa Salsa, 12 oz, $2.99. This salsa is a fusion of North African and Mexican spices and flavors – and I bet you could use it in a number of ways.
Henry Hotspur’s Hard Pressed for Cider, 6 pack, $7.99. I love a good hard cider, and this one is made from apples from the Pacific Northwest! Apparently Trader Joe’s has offered it as a 22 oz bottle, so this is the first time they’re offering it as a 6-pack of 12-oz bottles.
Make sure to head to Trader Joe’s website to check out all the new Fearless Flyer items.
