This week is the once-yearly Founders Day sale at Fred Meyer. There are awesome low prices happening across the store (I reported some of these to you in my weekly post). I decided to pop in and do some shopping on my own as well as see what else I might find to share with you.
Here’s what the Shopping Princess and I ended up with for $98:
It’s a ton of produce, some dairy, bread, plus all the ingredients for a freezer meal swap I’m participating in tonight, plus some toilet paper and Epsom salts. Plus a few other things thrown into the mix. I really want to highlight the organic baby spinach in my picture above. It’s $3 and buy one, get one free so that works out to $1.50 per clamshell! That’s a fabulous price! Also, the Epsom salts were buy one, get one free with in-store coupon and worked out to just $3.49 per bag.
I wanted to highlight some of what I found:
Their deli pizzas are buy one, get one free. With prices starting at $7.47, that works out to $3.73 each. Are these good? Has anyone tried them before? Some had peelie coupons for $1 off pop, too. So you could potentially work a pretty sweet deal on pizza.
Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Milk for $2 each. I consider anything $2 or under noteworthy for the half-gallon of non-dairy milks. I didn’t see any coupons out there right now, although there have been $0.55/1 blinkie coupons in the past. If you have one on hand, you’d pay $1.45, which is a solid deal for this product.
It’s worth paying a spin through Housewares. I found accent furniture for buy one, get one free. (The tables pictured would work out to $19.99 each.)
ALL the candles/home fragrance is also priced at buy one, get one free! A great time to stock up your gift closets! They have a really nice selection if you’ve never been down that aisle.
Also worth noting: ALL bakeware is buy one, get one free. That includes Pyrex! I don’t know if you can see it, but the $7.99 bowl has a $1/1 peelie on it! So you’d end up paying $6.99 for TWO bowls (or $3.49 each). Score!
This looked like a particularly hot deal to me, though I didn’t personally try it out. All thermal beverageware is buy one, get one free with the in-store coupon. But do you see that some of them are already priced at 50% off? If I’m reading this right, the cute red tumbler pictured at top left is $7.99 and 50% off (so $3.99). If you bought two of those and used the coupon, I *think* they should work out to just $1.99 each!
I hesitate sharing this photo with you because there was only one of these left…and I TOTALLY bought it. This PUR Pitcher comes with the filter AND a free water bottle and was only $5 after the clearance sale! SCORE!
If you are in need of a memory foam mattress topper, get thee to Fred Meyer! They seem to be clearancing them all out. This King Size was $183 and half off, so you’d pay about $90. There were other sizes and varieties too. I found some in Housewares (in bedding), but a few others in the furniture section, too, so it may be worth checking both spots.
Hey! It’s a cute girl! But no, she’s not for sale. 🙂 She just really wanted me to take her picture for you today. The Easter dress, tights, and rainboots she’s wearing were all purchased at some point or other at Fred Meyer.
Fake succulents in pots were about $10 after the 50% off sale.
Buy one, get one free bike helmets and accessories! You’ll see the orange coupons hanging all over the aisle.
Many seed varieties were 50% off with in-store coupon. Usually these are 40% off or buy 2, get 1 free.
Lots of great prices in kids’ apparel too! We found many 50% off and even 60% off racks, plus several racks of clearance items as well.
Yes, this is her favorite section of the entire store!
Need kids’ underwear and socks? Well, you’d be in luck because they are buy one, get one free with in-store coupon this week.
In case you missed it, check out my Founder’s Day sale matchup post! Will you be shopping this sale? If so, what will you be getting?
