If one of your 2017 resolutions is to learn something new, consider these FREE online courses from Harvard University.
Here are some of the coursework titles I’m finding:
- The Opioid Crisis in America
- The Architectural Imagination
- Hamlet’s Ghost
- Masterpieces of World Literature
- Introduction to Family Engagement in Education
These courses look pretty intense! For fun, I took a look at the World Literature course. It lasts 12 weeks and requires 5-7 hours of study per week. They’ll be covering text such as The Odyssey, and you get to learn from two Harvard professors. It’s also well reviewed. It seems to me like this would be the equivalent of auditing the course.
I should probably mention that completing these courses won’t earn you credit of any sort towards the completion of a degree, but you will likely get smarter, making you a wittier dinner party guest. Plus, you could put that you completed Harvard coursework on your resume. (Actually, I don’t recommend you do that. Don’t do that.)
Head to Harvard University to check it out.
