This morning I mentioned to my husband that I needed to head out to prep my Stuff I didn’t know I needed…until I went to Costco post. He asked, “should I come with?” And truth be told, it’s always a better post when he comes. However, we tend to find even more stuff (and consequently spend more money) when he comes.
I figured, what the hey – join in on the fun. So off we went to Costco to see what we could find. (Spoiler: we found a ton of stuff!)
The first thing we noticed were these giant plush bears for just $24.99. This tops my daughter’s wish list this year and I couldn’t resist the price. They are large, but not AS large as those ridiculously big bears you’d need a U-Haul to take home. Still, this bear filled our entire Costco cart and we ended up getting looks and comments our entire trip. (“Which of you gets to sleep with the bear?” No, I’m not kidding. “What are you going to name it?” you get the idea.)
I noticed near the front of the store that you can now order your Costco pizza while you shop. OK, maybe this has been an option, but it’s not something I’ve thought of. Anyhow, now you can pay for it with your other Costco purchases at checkout.
It’s clear that Christmas is in the air at Costco.
We found lots of gift items already in the store. I thought this DIY jewelry designer kit for $19.99 was a good deal! I bet my daughter would love this.
I always wonder when I see items like these. Is this truly permanent hair removal? Or is it just a painful way of temporarily removing some hair? It was $169.99 and I didn’t take the time to read the box.
Fragrant wax melter with some wax for just $17.99. Deal!
I LOVE these running gloves! They are the best, and yes, I do wear them running. They are just $9.99 right now at my store.
Yeah, this is how we roll at Costco.
Check out this sweet Junior Chef Cooking Set for just $14.97!
This Professional Stud Finder TOTALLY works.
I love these party packs. They serve 50 and is priced at just $13.49. So much cheaper than buying at the grocery store and I love the holiday theme!
OK my husband nearly snagged this… it’s a beer advent calendar! From December 1st to 24th, you get a different can of imported German beer to enjoy.
The only thing is that it’s $57.99… and you’d have to wait over an entire month before it’s time to crack it open. Even so, I think it would make a very fun gift idea!
Check out this camera backpack we found! It’s $69.99. I would love something like this for toting my camera since I love to take photos outdoors.
I was pretty stuffed from lunch (we ate just before we visited the store), but I couldn’t resist this sample of pumpkin pie with whipped cream! My first pumpkin pie of the season!
We spotted these lightweight packable down comforters for $19.99. They come with a cinch sack and in a variety of colors. We were thinking they might be good for those chilly soccer days, but they are very lightweight, and we’re not sure how warm they’d be. If you have one of these, will you let us know? Worth it? Warm?
I always see these awesome snow toys at Costco and feel sad that we don’t get much snow in our area.
I was telling my husband that I think more these laser holiday lights are going to be even more popular this year than they were last year! Costco was selling this 2-pack for just $49.99. We totally bought one. We’ll have to let you know what we think.
Sharpen your knives with this nifty device for $69.99.
KitchenAid 4-piece set for $13.99. It includes 2 mitts and 2 pot holders. This seems like a good deal.Starbucks 2-pack tumblers for $19.99.
American Girl outfit and accessories set for $39.99.
We found this awesome little Casio keyboard down the toy aisle. It’s just $97.99 and includes the stand! It also has the ability to teach you to play about 100 songs. I think we’re totally coming back to get it for my son. I had to pry my husband away after he jammed to “Oh Give me a Home” a little too long.
I found these HUGE wine bottles today at Costco!
I think my dog would totally love getting this set of squeaky balls under the tree this year. However, I could see my kids hurling them all over the house and making a mess.
This auto emergency kit has a tire inflator, jumper cables, headlamp, warning triangle, and much more. It is just $27.99 and includes the handy dandy kit.
Mikasa 6-Piece Bowl Set for $14.99.
Every year I see these snowshoes at Costco and every year I tell myself this is the year I’ll try snowshoeing. But it’s yet to happen. These are $69.99 and include the trekking poles.
LED Christmas Lights for $59.99.
It’s that time again… hand warmers for $12.99. We like to buy these and use them at soccer games and cross country meets.
Kits for kids for $15.99 (think science, art, etc.).
Art kit at Costco for $27.99.
He couldn’t resist. My apologies to the Costco staff working in the photo department.
Peppermint bark with Belgian chocolate.
And don’t forget the fruitcake!
All told, we spent about $120 on the bear, some t-shirts, dinner for tonight (since we were running late at this point), and the laser lights for Christmas. Not as bad as it could’ve been!
