I’ve noticed something around here… lots of you like Trader Joe’s. A lot.
So I’m going to cut you a deal. I’m going to make a concerted effort to talk more about this fun store here at the blog and you just keep on liking them. Sound like a deal?
This week I got their periodical Fearless Flyer in my mailbox. It’s their ad that reads more like a pamphlet, highlighting seasonal products you can find in their stores. I thought I’d post a list of the products that are highlighted in the flyer.
If I’ve personally tried and can recommend the item, I’ve highlighted it in red. If if I’ve not tried the item but am pretty sure it’s going on my list the next time I’m in, I’ve highlighted it in blue.

Have you tried any of the above products – particularly any of the ones highlighted in blue or not highlighted at all? If so – what were your thoughts?
I just heard the Summit Trading Co that just closed is going to become a Trader Joe’s. 🙂
Hmmm I want the vodka! Need to see if there is a TJs in Vancouver since they wouldnt be allowed to sell it here in Portland.
You’re in luck, Robin!
There is one right off of 205 on Chkalov Dr. in Vancouver.
Ohhh, I wish I could get that vodka (darn you OLCC!!)!
YES! I have tried a number of pumpkin items from Joes! I love love love that they go all out on pumpkin items for fall. Im a pumpkin lover this time of year so I stock up. The toaster pastries are so yummy with a cup of coffee in the morning. The bread mix I actually made cupcakes out of and filled them with the pumpkin butter and iced with cream cheese icing, heaven!
The pumpkin oatmeal is my husbands fav to date. They were out of the ice cream when I went but heard its just as good, so its on my list for next time. I also want to bring a box of those macaroons to work and try. The waffles were really great also especially with some pumpkin butter on them and a smidge of syrup. MMMMMMM! Im so glad you are posting for Joes now!
Good to hear positive feedback about the pumpkin and pecan oatmeal. I almost purchased a box this week, but held off.
I love all of the pumpkin items they have. I have pumpkin pancakes in my freezer now.
We had the pumpkin ice cream earlier this week. Yum!
My daughters LOVE the Pecan Pumpkin Oatmeal
My kids love the pumpkin cereal bars!
I love pumpkin time at Trader Joes!
*The pumpkin greek yogurt is pretty good, not too sweet.
*My son loves the pumpkin soup. It’s sweet and savory at the same time, which is not a combo I prefer in soup, but it’s great to heat up a bowl for lunch. We paired it last year with the picture book Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper. (instead of a wine pairing, I do picture book pairings I guess)
*The pumpkin cereal bars are yummy! My son and I argue over them.
*The (frozen) pumpkin pie is, hands down, the best pumpkin pie I’ve ever had. I was pregnant last year and heavily craving pumpkin pie so I tasted a LOT of pies. SO GOOD.
Oh, I forgot – we’re all about the spiced cider here. I told my son it was back at TJ’s and his eyes lit and actually cheered.
My favorite is the pumpkin butter. I buy enough to last all year.
