My friend Mindy forwarded me a good reminder post from Coupon Clippin' Mama recently about what to do when your Catalina coupons don't print.
This morning, I got an email from a friend who was upset because she was shorted her Catalina coupons and was unable to successfully resolve it with Customer Service. So after sending my response to her, I decided Mindy's reminder was a good one to share with all my readers.
If your Catalina coupons don't print, you can always try to resolve it with the store first. This will generally bring the fastest resolution. But what to do if they can't help or you just don't have the time to wait in line at Customer Service? (As a mom of two little ones, this has been my scenario before!)
Here's what you do. Call the Catalina Marketing company directly at 1-888-8COUPON (1-888-826-8766).
I personally have called them a few times and they are always helpful. They will ask for the information from your receipts (so have it ready!). If they determine you purchased the correct items for the promotion, they will mail you your Catalina coupons. Generally, you'll have them within a week's time. If they determine you did not purchase the correct items to receive the Cat, they can help clarify that for you, too. One time I went to do a Band-Aid/Neosporin Register Rewards deal at my local Walgreens and the thing didn't print. A quick call helped me determine one of the packs of Band-Aids I purchased was not part of the deal. So I was able to return the items and re-do the deal correctly.
So if this happens to you, don't just shrug it off…call and get your Cats!
