I love Groupon, and I’m guessing you do, too. After all, it helps you save on everything from restaurants to activities to spa visits.

The Groupon Goods section offers deals on a variety of items, and the Groupon Getaways section helps you save on hotels and travel. Plus, Groupon offers a roundup of coupon codes at a huge number of popular retailers.

But Groupon isn’t the only website out there that helps you save on all these things. There are plenty of other sites like Groupon that offer similar services or take a different spin on finding local and national deals of interest.

Be sure your search to save doesn’t stop at Groupon!

Sites Like Groupon

Whether you’re looking to save on local attractions and experiences, your favorite restaurant, or highly rated products and services, these sites like Groupon are valuable additions to your deal-finding routine.

1. LivingSocial

The first thing you’ll notice when you visit LivingSocial is that it looks…almost exactly like Groupon. That’s due mostly to the fact that Groupon acquired LivingSocial back in 2016, and many of the deals you’ll find on Groupon can also be found on LivingSocial.

However, not all the deals that are found on Groupon will be found on LivingSocial, and vice versa. Therefore, it’s worth keeping tabs on both sites to make sure you’re getting the best deals.

LivingSocial highlights local deals, travel deals, physical products, and tickets to events. They’re especially strong on travel deals, with discounted hotel stays across the country, destination packages, family getaways, and more.

Whether you’re searching for deals around your home or you’re looking for a good deal when you’re traveling or on vacation, LivingSocial is a great site to browse.

Features include:

  • Deals on activities, beauty and spas, food and drink, shop, and hotels and travel
  • Electronic vouchers that can be redeemed immediately
  • Good Deal Guarantee
  • Mobile app (App Store and Google Play)

2. Woot

Woot makes this list of sites like Groupon because it offers limited-time deals on home and kitchen, electronics, computers, and other goods.

The difference is that Woot’s deals are only good for one day, but they do refresh with new deals each day.

You won’t find the local deals like Groupon offers on Woot, but they do have funny t-shirt deals, and Groupon has a lot of those. Like Groupon, once the deals on Woot are gone, they’re gone.

Amazon acquired Woot in 2010, so If you’re an Amazon Prime member, login with your account to get free shipping.

Don’t have a Prime membership? Sign up for a free 30-day trial to give it a shot. EBT and Medicaid cardholders as well as college students can get discounts on their Prime membership.

3. Travelzoo

You can probably tell by the name that Travelzoo offers deals on travel. It’s one of the sites like Groupon because it can help you find deals on hotels, attractions, and entertainment.

However, Travelzoo takes it a step further by also highlighting deals on resorts, flights, vacation packages, and even cruises.

To keep from getting overwhelmed by the plethora of deals they offer, check their weekly Top 20 Deals which are handpicked and highlight a wide variety of excursions.

If you’re looking for last-minute travel deals or all-inclusive travel deals, they’ve got special categories for those, as well.

Sign up for their email newsletter for breaking news and exclusive deals. (Plus, you’ll need to be a member to see most of the details of the deals, anyway, so you might as well just sign up.)

  • Travel, entertainment, and lifestyle experiences
  • Partners with more than 5,000 top travel suppliers
  • Flexible airfare deals

Groupon has stepped up their game in being a place to find awesome coupon codes, but if you want a great place to find coupon codes, you’ll need to take a look at RetailMeNot.

RetailMeNot has a huge consortium of coupon codes as well as cashback offers, online sales, and some in-store sales.

You won’t find specific local deals like you would find on Groupon, but you can still save when you’re out and about or shopping online by using RetailMeNot. And yes, they have lots of travel deals, too!

  • Coupon codes, cashback offers, online and in-store sales
  • Deal Finder extension for Chrome or Firefox
  • Canadian site (RetailMeNot.ca)

5. Slickdeals

Slickdeals is the place for deal seekers to go and share deals with others. Deals are crowd-sourced from all over and voted on by other members, so the best deals quickly rise to the top.

There’s also an editorial team that highlights the very best deals on their Frontpage, so don’t feel like it’s the wild west on Slickdeals or anything. They also moderate and remove deals that don’t meet their community standards or that don’t work anymore.

Deals cover everything from grocery deals to video games, entertainment to travel, and lots more. You can set up deal alerts to be sent to your email so you don’t miss out on your favorites.

6. DealNews

I love finding online deals with DealNews. Their team of deal hunters and writers handpick 400+ deals to post each weekday. Most of them are online, but they also have some in-store, local, and travel deals.

With so many great deals, you might have a tough time figuring out where to start. I recommended their Editors’ Choice category as those deals get a thumbs up from at least 2/3 of their editorial team.

You can also sort by “Hotness” to see what other buyers are interested in.

They have a huge Travel & Entertainment category which helps you find deals on hotels, airfare, vacations, and things to do when you’re out and about. You’ll also find coupon codes and sales for a wide variety of retailers.

Keep tabs on the deals by signing up for one of their five email newsletters and/or by setting up deal alerts via email for any products or stores that interest you.

Features include:

  • Deals on clothing, computers, electronics, home and garden, and more
  • Updated daily, posted and reviewed by an editorial team
  • Deal alerts for specific brands, products and/or stores
  • Mobile app (App Store, Google Play)

7. DealCatcher

DealCatcher has been around since 1999 and is updated daily with coupons, codes, and deals for both online and in-store retailers. Its mission is to help shoppers save money and make educated purchases.

Users can submit a coupon or deal for review, so again, it’s continually being updated with new information. Find not just coupons, but also rebates and reviews to help you make an informed decision.

  • Updated and reviewed daily with 10,000+ coupons and deals total
  • Personalized deal alerts available

8. DealsPlus

Another website that is updated each day with new deals is DealsPlus. Like Slickdeals (mentioned earlier in this list), it relies heavily on users to submit deals to the database. There are lots of sales, coupons, and cashback offers listed on DealsPlus!

Categories include everything from apparel and accessories to restaurants to furniture and more. Browse the front page for deals hand-picked by their editorial team and trending deals clicked on and purchased by other users.

DealsPlus offers online deals as well as printable coupons to use in-store at your favorite retailers or restaurants. You’ll want to download the mobile app to use some of these coupons as most of them are valid just by showing them on your phone.

  • Subscribe to stores and/or specific users
  • Cashback program (free $5 when you sign up)

9. Coupons.com

Coupons.com started as the place to go for printable coupons. I used to use printable grocery coupons every time I went to the grocery store, and Coupons.com was always the first place I would check.

Coupons.com is still a great place to find printable coupons to use at grocery stores, but they also have printable coupons you can print, clip, and redeem at in-store retailers and other services.

If you’ve ever been frustrated by getting to the register and realizing that you’ve left your coupons at home, or if you’ve ever found expired coupons stuffed in the bottom of your purse, you’ll be excited by the digital coupons available at Coupons.com.

These can be linked to your store’s loyalty card (Walgreens, Safeway, etc.), or you can take a picture of your receipt, submit the photo, and get cashback for your coupons directly into your PayPal account.

They also have a database of coupon codes and sales from popular online retailers to help you save when you’re shopping that way, too.

Features include:

  • Printable, digital, and online coupons
  • Grocery coupons cover food, personal care, household, and other everyday items

10. Tanga

Some of these other websites post a lot of deals each day, which can quickly get overwhelming. If you’re looking for a slightly smaller but still robust catalog to browse, Tanga is a great site to visit.

Tanga posts at least two new sales every day – a 24-hour only sale each day at 7 am and at least one themed 48-hour sale at 4 pm. These sales have themes like Tech Accessories Under $20, Love Your Pet!, and Keep the Kids Busy.

They purchase closeout products in bulk to help you save big. You’ll see in browsing their front page that they offer free shipping on many items, and you can also easily see reviews and star ratings for popular items.

  • Free shipping on many items
  • Rewards program for registered users
  • Email newsletter highlighting daily deals and sales

11. Local Flavor

You can probably tell by the name: Local Flavor helps you find local deals and coupons in hundreds of towns and cities across the U.S. They also offer deals from select nationwide retailers in your hometown. This probably sounds like one of the sites like Groupon, right?

Categories of savings include dining, fun, salon/spa, fitness, auto, services, retail, and your home. The selection isn’t as large as what Groupon offers, but the deals are different.

They have 50% off deals at local retailers as well as coupons that help you save on services you need. For example, one of the deals near me saves me 75% off labor on a shower or bath installation.

Features include:

  • Local deals for towns and cities across the U.S.
  • Email newsletter with daily deals in your area
  • Can use deals after expiration for the value you paid
  • Mobile app (App Store, Google Play)

Besides the normal categories you’ll find (apparel, grocery, etc.), you’ll also find Arts & Entertainment coupons and Travel deals like you’re used to seeing with sites like Groupon.

You can sign up for their email newsletter to get hand-picked deals direct to your inbox – it’s FREE!

Features include:

  • Daily updates on thousands of deals
  • Coupon codes, promo codes, sitewide sales
  • Exclusive offers negotiated with retailers just for Savings.com
  • Email newsletter

13. Entertainment.com

Entertainment.com is best known for the Entertainment Coupon Book, a yearly publication that is jam-packed with local coupons. They currently have 75+ different editions for cities and states across the U.S. and Canada, so there’s probably one near you.

These local coupons cover everything from popular attractions to restaurants to spas and beauty services. Seriously, you’re bound to find at least one coupon in the book that covers the cost of the book itself!

You can also find some awesome travel deals on flights, hotels, and rental cars.

Entertainment.com also offers frequent sales on their annual coupon books, so be sure to sign up for their email newsletter to find out about those when they pop up.

Sometimes they have a 2-for-1 deal which is great if you want to give one as a gift for a friend that lives elsewhere or you’re planning a vacation to another part of the country and want to save while you’re there.

If you want to be sure you always have access to local coupons, sign up for their membership via the Entertainment Coupon App for just $19.99/year or $2.99/month.

14. CertifiKID

If you’ve got kids or grandkids, check out CertifiKID for family-focused deals on kids’ activities as well as family-friendly experiences, entertainment, products, and services across the country. It offers the most kid-friendly deals on this list of sites like Groupon.

I took a minute to browse near me and found a 2-for-1 discount at a local children’s play area, $25 off a local basketball camp, and plenty of virtual deals that make this website a “must-see” for parents like me.

Features include:

  • Local and national kid-friendly and family-friendly deals
  • A referral program that rewards you when friends sign up
  • Email newsletter with offers and savings
  • Giveaways, contests, and last-minute offers on social media

15. Valpak

When you think of Valpak, you probably think of the blue envelope that you may or may not open before it gets tossed in the trash.

Yes, Valpak offers printed coupons for local restaurants and services, but they also have an online catalog you can search and browse to find and print coupons for your area.

Some of the coupons may be duplicates of what you’ll find in the envelope, but I like the ability to search and browse for what I want instead of being presented with a stack of coupons that I may or may not use.

Valpak covers 160 local franchises across the U.S. and Canada. If you’re not familiar with Valpak, you can submit a request to have an envelope mailed to you and they’ll investigate it.

Features include:

  • Coupons for restaurants, entertainment and travel, personal care, and more
  • Online coupon codes and printable coupons
  • Printable grocery coupons
  • Mobile app (App Store, Google Play)

16. Local Media Websites

It may sound obvious, but some of the best places to find local deals like you’ll find on Groupon and other sites like Groupon are through your local media websites. Look at the websites of your local radio stations, TV stations, newspapers, etc.

Chances are they have some sort of “deal” section featuring limited time offers from local businesses that you won’t find anywhere else.

I can’t compile this list for you, but a simple search like “local deals near me” or “local radio stations,” etc. should help you find some websites that may offer some great deals for those mom-and-pop shops, favorite attractions, and delicious dining that appeal to your needs.

Summary

Groupon is a big name in the shopping business, but it’s not the only place to find great local deals, online coupon codes, or savings on products that you’re looking for.

These sites like Groupon are great alternatives to help you trim your budget while still enjoying the attractions, restaurants, and services you love.
